I finally documented the mold-creation system, as I said I would. This worked out since a dreadnought recently arrived, and I had plans to reproduce it's parts in resin. I just needed to take pictures along the way this time.
I also finished the forest camo-scheme mechs I had been working on, and moved on to starting and finishing the arctic-scheme duo I had planned on doing. Go me.
With the dreadnought weapons, and with the soon-to-be-completed molds of my left over battlesuit weapons and equipment, I plan on creating multiple variations of the Duelist and Mantis mechs. Mostly that means I'll have to hurt myself trying to come up with new color schemes, since I plan on creating a lot of them.
Lastly, it's worth mentioning that the molds are very flexible, allowing me to warp and shape the parts during the curing process, and the resin can be pulled, stretched and shaped into variable parts. I've played with both concepts enough, and decided I can use them to construct at least two chaos dreadnoughts; I plan on adding a lot of flayed skin to at least one.
